After Rihanna battled her life with the alleged battery she got from boyfriend Chris Brown, the tide is now against Brown as he is battling with a court proceeding in lieu with his actions that caused a little stir in Hollywood and the rest of the world. In a proceeding happened today at around 3 pm, Brown pleaded not guilty despite the heavy evidence gathered by the DA against him. According to a report published by eonline.com, after hearing the counts on Brown, that involves grave body injuries and criminal threats, Judge Patricia Shchnegg of Los Angeles Superior Court asked for Brown’s plea. He retorted hushing, “not guilty, your honor.”

Brown is a celebrated young performer – singer of the top hits With You and Superhuman. Brown and Rihanna have been dating for some years already. But on February 8 this year, reports shocked the whole world when slowly, the concealed singer that reported in a LA police station was named to be Rihanna and the culprit is none other than Chris Brown himself. Rihanna did not in particular directly filed case against Brown, but the District Attorney pursued the case. Reports few weeks ago stated that Rihanna is still cooperative with the DA. Rihanna is currently home in Barbados. In report published in People Magazine, February 27 said that the couple is back again on its other arms.

Now the case confronting Brown now depends on how the Superior Judge would find the merits of the case. Browns counsels headed by Mark Geragos are stretching all their wits and resources and saving their client from possible penalty. In case that Brown is found guilty of his actions, he is going to serve in prison a maximum of four years and eight months. The hearing is scheduled to resume on April 29.
