Max Payne by Mark Wahlberg
There is a new movie that is keenly awaited by gamers and movie lovers alike, and that movie is headed by Mark Wahlberg. The movie is based on the legendary and the hard hitting interactive video game. Max Payne tells the story of one maverick cop that is determined to track down those that are responsible for murder of his family and his partner. With revenge in his mind, Max Payne’s journey takes him deep into the underworld and faces an unthinkable betrayal.
This movie headlined by Mark Wahlberg is not inspired by the comic book but by the hit 2001 video game. The movie is intense and this movie will be recalled by moviegoers for its visuals and relentless action and not for the acting of the stars. Since the movie is known for the visuals, great visual effects were used. This was made possible thanks to works of the Irish filmmaker John Moore of ‘The Omen’ and ‘Behind Enemy Lines’. The filmmaker makes use of the new motion camera system called the ‘Phantom’ and the use of this system allows for the extreme slow motion scenes, more like the ones that can be seen on ‘The Matrix’. The movie was written by newcomer Beau Thorne.
The actor was happy with the results of the movie, in fact he added that he like the movie. It was said that when the actor first read the script, the actor said that he didn’t need much more persuading just to do the film. For him this is the most kick-ass action movie that he has participated in. he added as well that the game from which the movie is based is cinematic and the story is elaborate. The movie is set to open in US theaters this Friday and many are waiting if the movie will hit big on the box office.
