Halle Berry as Esquire’s sexiest woman
For its November issue, the Esquire magazine is set to name Halle Berry as its sexiest woman alive. When the actress was asked for her comment on the recognition given by the magazine, the actress said that she actually don’t know what it means by the label. She added that she will gladly take the award even though she is 42 and already has a baby. She added that sexiness is just a state of mind and a comfortable state of being. She added that it’s all about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments.
The actress has given birth to her daughter Nahla in March. But the actress doesn’t want to claim the honor all to herself though. The actress wants to share the title with every woman since she believes that every woman is a nominee for the recognition at any moment.
Esquire is a men’s magazine that is published by Hearst Corporation and the magazine is known for its strong literary foundation. The magazine was founded in 1933 and this magazine flourished during the Great Depression under the tutelage of its founder and editor. On its October 2008 issue a special edition of the magazine was released. This was their 75th Anniversary issue and the special issue was known as the world’s first E-ink cover. This cover features the battery-powered screen. The spine on each of the issue reads 1 of only 100,000. The screen that can be seen on the cover was layered under the printed transparency and contains a number of features. A feature that was included was the picture of Nixon laughing and it reads, ‘The 21st Century Begins Now. The words flash on and off. And for the current issue, for its November issue the magazine named its sexiest woman alive. And the recognition is given to Halle Berry.
