Janet Jackson’s concerts cancelled
The latest news about Janet is that she decided to cancel her two upcoming concert dates due to illness. The confirmation was made by Jackson’s representatives. Affected concerts that were cancelled include the stopover in Boston on October 1 and the one scheduled for Philadelphia scheduled for October 2. The Rock Witchu Tour of the singer has hit a snag after she got suddenly ill and she was rushed to the hospital.
The singer was rushed and monitored at the Montreal’s Royal Victoria Hospital but the singer was not admitted. She was taken out of the hospital after two hours of being under observation.
The cancelled tour will resume in Greensboro NC on October 4. The recent trip of the singer to the hospital isn’t the first time for this year. Just in March the singer was also taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and she suffered from flu. The trip to the hospital in March led the singer to cancel her planned appearance on Saturday Night Live in order to promote her latest album called ‘Discipline’.
This tour titled as Rock Witchu Tour is actually the singer’s first tour after seven years. Her previous tours include the famous Rhythm Nation 1814 tour and this tour solidified Janet’s status in the industry as a trailblazing entertainer coupled with cutting edge choreography. Her last tour was also known for its unparalleled stage production and theatrics. This tour by Ms Jackson eventually won over the audiences and broke global box office records along the way. Janet Jackson is a popular figure in the entertainment scene and the singer has sold more than 100 million albums, issued countless hits and scored may awards and accolades as well. The current tour is expected to showcase some of her hit songs and innovative dance moves.
