Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds tie the knot
Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds finally tie the knot after much speculation and talks. The announcement was made by publicist Meredith O’Sullivan. The publicist said that the couple got married this weekend and provided no other details. US Weekly reported on its website Sunday that there was a small wedding that took place at a resort just outside Vancouver, British Columbia. According to the same website, the small wedding’s guest list includes the actress’ mother, Melanie Sloan and her brother Adrian Johansson. The couple was engaged in May this year.
Just last month, the actress added that there were still no plans for marriage. Johansson said that they were just enjoying their time and they are taking it easy. Johansson is a popular figure in the entertainment scene and most recently, the actress starred in the Woody Allen film called ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ and Reynolds on the other hand starred on the TV show ‘Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place’ and the romantic comedy ‘Definitely Maybe’. Between the two couple, it is Scarlett Johansson who is considered to be more popular. Though not as popular as his wife, Ryan Reynolds has established himself as an articulate and a gifted actor matched with his pretty-boy looks and his humanitarian inclinations. The actor has appeared in countless movies, some very commercial and he also appeared in some art films. The actor has appeared in the art film ‘The Nines’ and he also appeared in Blade Trinity and ‘The Amityville Horror’. The actor just recently completed the filming of the movie ‘The Proposal’ and he was partnered with Sandra Bullock. Johansson on the other hand has many projects tucked under her belt. Some of her more famous works include the Nanny Diaries, Lost in Translation and A Love Song for Bobby Long.
