After peace has been settled between Kanye West and the MTV Music Video Awards courtesy of his closing performance at the recently-concluded awards show, the rapper-singer and producer is once again on the hot seat after being arrested by the police. The rapper and producer was arrested Thursday morning at the Los Angeles International Airport. The singer was charged for felony vandalism. The altercation between the singer and the photographers happened near the airport’s Terminal 4. The incident involved West, his road manager and his bodyguard and the photographer and the camera men who were taking his photos that time.

According to the police who responded to the scene, the cameras of the photographers were damaged during the incident. The singer was released on the same day after posting the $20,000 bond. Kanye West is one of the more popular rap acts in the industry and a recipient as well of 10 Grammys. He and Cowley were in the airport Thursday to catch a flight going to Honolulu, Hawaii. Based on many reports the two were outside the passenger security screening when the altercation happened. After the said incident the two were then brought to the Los Angeles police station. The other two photographers involved in the incident were not identified.

Based on the reports posted on the celebrity website TMZ, the singer grabbed the camera of the photographer at that time when the two were taking the pictures of West. Also on the site of TMZ, a video of the incident was posted and the video was taken by the other reporter on the area. The video that was posted on TMZ was short and the man who was identified as West never showed his face on the video. West is a popular rapper and singer in the industry.
