Their tandem is now on the early stage of searching material for a feature take or one or more episodes from the classic TV series.

The studio production and company are deliberately telling the creators that they are looking for pitches and ideas based on the show for feature development. Far from a remake of an episodic movie like the big-screen version of the show did 25 years ago, they are looking forward to establish one continuing story line based on one or more episodes. A feature adaptation coul be a passion project of sorts of DiCaprio, whose interviews has cited “Twilight Zone” as his favorite TV show.

The news of a possible Twilight Zone movie would come as “The X-Files”. Opening this weekend, this is another film adaptation of a paranormal themed television series. Over the years, there have been attempts to update this TV series. The first attempt was made by CBS TV movie in 1994 based on Serling episodes.
