Despite Madonna’s constant denial regarding her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, one of Cynthia’s lawyers Earle Lilly insisted that Madonna and Alex are still together and that the relationship should be analyzed as an affair of the heart, revoking the usual idea of an affair being categorized solely on sexual infidelity by most people.  The divorce papers served by Cynthia to her husband didn’t mention Madonna’s name in it but another lawyer of Cynthia admitted that Alex’s involvement with Madonna is the most recent in an already known series of events that caused the marriage downfall.

With Madonna also in a rocky situation with her marriage to Guy Ritchie, news have been out that Alex had made a series of visits to the singer’s apartment in New York and that there had been times where both of them were seen not wearing their wedding rings.  The two met at a gym and became friends ever since.

Madonna still is firm with her stand and said she only knew Alex through Guy Oseary, who manages both of them and that they are not romantically involved in any way.  She even said that she has nothing to do with the state of Alex and Cynthia’s marriage or Alex’s spiritual shift to Kabbalah, a mystical Jewish faith.
