The man who made us laugh in The Mask, made us cry in The Truman Show and made us appreciate the joy of Christmas in How the Grinch Stole Christmas recently gave people reason to laugh about in the face of economic woes and the fanatical presidential campaign.

Jim Carrey recently appeared in the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS wearing only a bathrobe, a pair of socks and slippers. The comedian said that he was confused with all the daylight saving time thingy that’s why he forgot that he was supposed to be on the show.

The Golden Globe winner then hid behind a chair in the set and stripped his bathrobe and proceeded getting dressed formally for the show.
